Terms and Conditions for Automotive Repair Services

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the provision of automotive repair services by JB Autowerks LLC, hereinafter referred to as “the Shop.”

1. Service Agreement: By engaging the services of the Shop, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Estimates: All cost estimates provided by the Shop are based on the initial assessment of the vehicle’s condition. Actual costs may vary depending on the extent of repairs needed. The customer will be informed of any changes in cost before the commencement of additional work.

3. Authorization: The customer authorizes the Shop to perform the agreed-upon repairs and services. Any additional work not covered by the initial estimate will require separate authorization and agreement on costs.

4. Parts and Materials: The Shop reserves the right to use new, used, or aftermarket parts as deemed appropriate for the repair. All replaced parts will be retained by the Shop unless otherwise specified by the customer.

5. Payment Terms: Payment for services is due upon completion of the repairs. The Shop accepts cash, credit cards, and other agreed-upon methods. Invoices not paid within the specified timeframe are subject to late fees and may result in legal action for collection. All vehicles are subject to a storage fee of $20 per business day 72 hours after repairs are completed and invoices left unpaid.

6. Warranty: The Shop provides a limited nationwide warranty on repairs for a period of [24] months or [24k] miles, whichever comes first. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, negligence, or misuse. 

7. Customer’s Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their vehicle’s condition. The Shop is not liable for any issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer.

8. Liability: The Shop is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle during the repair process. The customer is advised to remove valuables from the vehicle before leaving it with the Shop.

9. Delays: The Shop will make reasonable efforts to complete repairs within the estimated time frame. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. The customer will be notified of any significant delays.

10. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with local laws.
